Rajeshwari Suve M has secured All India Rank 2 in UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025, becoming the highest-ranked woman candidate this year. She currently serves as a Deputy Collector (training) in Tamil Nadu.

Rajeshwari Suve M Secures AIR 2 in UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025

Rajeshwari Suve M has secured All India Rank (AIR) 2 in the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025, the results of which were declared by the Union Public Service Commission. She is the highest-ranked woman candidate among the 958 candidates recommended for appointment to various civil services. In the final merit list, Anuj Agnihotri secured AIR 1, while Akansh Dhull obtained AIR 3.

 

UPSC CSE 2025 AIR 2 Rajeshwari’s Background and Current Role

Rajeshwari hails from Vadipatti, a town in Madurai district of Tamil Nadu. At the time of her selection, she was serving as a Deputy Collector (training) at the District Collector’s Office in Dindigul under the state government. Her achievement makes her the top-performing female candidate in the UPSC CSE 2025 results.

 

UPSC CSE 2025 AIR 2 Educational Qualifications

Rajeshwari completed her schooling under the Tamil Nadu State Board. She later pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Vel Tech Multi Tech Engineering College, which is affiliated with Anna University in Chennai. She graduated in 2018.

 

UPSC CSE 2025 AIR 2 Rajeshwari Sube M’s Family Background

Rajeshwari comes from an academically supportive family. Her father runs a private business, while her mother works as an associate professor at a government institution in the state.

 

AIR 2 Rajeshwari’s UPSC Journey

Her success came after several attempts. Rajeshwari had appeared in the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination five times before securing her breakthrough rank this year.

 

She had also previously appeared for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination conducted by UPSC. For the UPSC CSE Mains examination, Rajeshwari chose Sociology as her optional subject.

 

The UPSC Civil Services Examination is conducted annually to recruit officers for services such as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other Central Services Group A and Group B.
