The National Testing Agency has opened the application correction window for NIFTEE 2026, allowing candidates to edit permitted details online until the deadline. The facility helps ensure application accuracy before final processing and admit card release.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application correction window for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) 2026 from 20 January 2026. Candidates who have already submitted their NIFTEE application forms can now log in to the official NTA portal to make edits or correct errors in the details they provided. This correction facility offers one last opportunity to ensure application accuracy before the exam process moves forward. Once the window closes, no further changes will be accepted, so candidates are advised to act promptly.
Who Can Make Corrections?
The NIFTEE 2026 correction window is available to:
- Candidates who have successfully submitted their UG and PG application forms for the NIFT entrance exam
- Applicants who completed their submissions with or without late fee during the registration period
This facility is not available to candidates who have not finished their application submission process.
What Can Be Corrected in the Application Form?
NTA generally allows edits only in selected fields during the correction window. These may include:
- Certain personal details
- Academic information
- Category or PwD status
- Uploaded photograph and signature (if required)
However, some core fields — such as programme applied for or exam city selection — may not be editable once the initial form has been submitted. Candidates should refer to the official instructions on the NTA portal before making changes.
How to Access and Use the Correction Window?
Candidates can follow these steps to edit their NIFTEE 2026 application:
- Visit the official NTA NIFT portal at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee
- Click on the NIFTEE 2026 Application Correction Window link
- Log in using your application number and password or date of birth
- Update permitted fields accurately
- Review corrected details carefully before final submission
- Save and download the updated confirmation page
No separate correction form PDF is available; all edits must be completed online through the candidate login.
Deadline and Important Instructions
The NIFTEE 2026 application correction window will remain open until 21 January 2026. Candidates must complete all edits before the window closes, as no corrections will be accepted after the deadline. No additional fee is usually required for making corrections, provided the edits do not affect fee-related fields. Requests sent via email or offline mode will not be accepted.
What Happens After Corrections?
Once the correction window closes, NTA will process the final application details for issue of admit cards, exam city intimation slips, and further stages of the NIFT 2026 entrance test, scheduled for early February 2026. Candidates should ensure all particulars are correct to avoid issues in later stages. The NIFTEE 2026 application correction window providesapplicants a critical opportunity to ensure their form details are accurate, helping them avoid potential discrepancies during the exam or admission process.
