NIT Tiruchirappalli has opened the NIMCET 2026 registration window from 03 March 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online until 01 May 2026. The entrance exam for MCA admission will be conducted on 06 June 2026.
NIMCET 2026 registration has started for candidates seeking MCA admission in participating National Institutes of Technology. The application window opened on 03 March 2026 (10:00 AM). Eligible applicants can submit the form until 01 May 2026 (5:00 PM) through the official website nimcet.admissions.nic.in. The NIMCET 2026 examination will be conducted on 06 June 2026 in computer-based test mode.
NIMCET 2026 Important Dates and Exam Schedule
The conducting authority has released the complete schedule for registration, admit card, result, and counselling process. Candidates must follow the official timeline to avoid missing deadlines. The key dates are listed below:
- Online Registration Starts: 03 March 2026 (10:00 AM)
- Last Date to Apply: 01 May 2026 (5:00 PM)
- Application Correction Window: 05 May 2026 to 07 May 2026
- Admit Card Download: 27 May 2026 to 06 June 2026
- NIMCET 2026 Exam Date: 06 June 2026
- Answer Key Release (Tentative): 10 June 2026

How to Fill NIMCET 2026 Application Form?
The application process is fully online. Applicants must complete registration, fill details, upload documents, and pay the fee before final submission. The step-by-step procedure is provided below:
Step 1: Registration
Visit nimcet.admissions.nic.in and click on the “New Registration” link. Enter basic details such as name, email ID, and mobile number to generate login credentials.
Step 2: Fill Application Form
Log in using the application number and password. Provide personal details, academic qualifications including Class 10, Class 12, and graduation marks. Select preferred test centres in order of priority.
Step 3: Upload Required Documents
Upload scanned copies of the following documents in the prescribed format:
- Passport-size photograph and signature
- Valid ID proof such as Aadhaar Card or PAN
- Mark sheets and category certificates, if applicable
Step 4: Payment of Application Fee
Complete the process by paying the non-refundable fee online through Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.
- General/OBC candidates: INR 2,500
- SC/ST/PwD candidates: INR 1,250
Candidates must review all details carefully before final submission. The confirmation page should be downloaded and printed for future reference during the counselling process.
