The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the NIFT Situation Test 2026 date for Stage 2 of undergraduate admissions. Candidates shortlisted after Stage 1 for B.Des admissions will have to appear for the Situation Test on April 26, 2026. Along with this, the city intimation slip for Stage 2 has also been released on the official website. The NIFT admit card for the Stage 2 UG examination will be released soon.
NIFT Stage 2 Exam Date 2026 Update
As per the latest notification, the Situation Test for B.Des, Studio Test and Personal Interview for B.Des (NLEA), Artisan Skill Test and Personal Interview for B.Des (Artisan), and Technical Ability Test (TAT) with Personal Interview for B.F.Tech will all be conducted on April 26, 2026. These exams are part of Stage 2 for UG programmes. The official notification for the same was released on April 17, 2026.

NIFT Situation Test 2026 Weightage
For B.Des admissions, the final selection weightage is:
- General Ability Test (GAT): 30%
- Creative Ability Test (CAT): 50%
- Situation Test: 20%
