The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NIFT 2026 Provisional Answer Key today, February 17, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the answer key from the official website — exams.nta.nic.in/niftee. The answer key has been released for Stage 1 – General Ability Test (GAT) for programmes including:
- B.Des
- B.F.Tech
- M.Des
- M.F.Tech
- MFM
No answer key has been released for the Creative Ability Test (CAT).

Objection Process
Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key by logging in using their Application ID and Password.
- Objection fee: ₹200 per question
- Objection window closes on February 19, 2026 at 11:50 PM
After reviewing challenges, NTA will release the final answer key, based on which results will be prepared.

- Visit the official NTA NIFT website.
- Click on the link for NIFT 2026 Answer Key.
- Enter Roll Number and Date of Birth (or Application ID and Password).
- View the answer key on the screen.
- Download and print the PDF for reference.
How to Calculate NIFT 2026 Score?
- Each correct answer carries 1 mark.
- For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
- Unanswered questions receive no marks.
In case of multiple correct options or revisions after objections, marks will be awarded as per the final revised answer key. Candidates are advised to carefully review their response sheet and raise objections within the stipulated deadline to ensure accurate score calculation.
