The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon issue the NIFT 2026 admit card for the UG and PG design entrance exam scheduled on 08 February 2026. The city intimation slip has been released giving candidates their exam city details ahead of the hall ticket. Students should use their application login to download and print the admit card once available.

NIFT 2026 Admit Card Release Date, Hall Ticket Download Link & Instructions

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) 2026 entrance exam admit cards are expected to be released shortly ahead of the 08 February 2026 exam date, with candidates advised to monitor the official portal for the hall ticket link and download instructions.

NIFT 2026 Admit Card Release & City Intimation Slip

The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE), has already issued the city intimation slip on 29 January 2026, confirming candidates’ allotted exam city and preliminary details. However, this slip does not serve as the actual hall ticket. The official NIFT 2026 admit card required for entry into test centres will be published on the NTA NIFT admit card portal in the days leading up to the examination.

How to Download the NIFT 2026 Admit Card?

Once released, candidates must:

  • Visit the NTA NIFT hall ticket website at exams.nta.ac.in/niftee.
  • Enter their NIFT application number and date of birth to log in.
  • Download and print the admit card PDF for exam day.

The admit card will detail the candidate’s exam centre, date, shift timing, and reporting instructions. Carrying a printed copy with a valid photo ID is mandatory for entry; digital screenshots will not be accepted.

NIFT Entrance Exam 2026: Exam Day & Reporting Rules

The NIFT 2026 entrance exam is scheduled for Sunday, 08 February 2026. It comprises the General Ability Test (GAT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT), conducted in distinct time slots. Candidates should ensure they arrive at their exam centre well before the reporting time indicated on the admit card. The hall ticket must be presented alongside an original photo ID proof such as Aadhaar, passport, or driving licence.

Additional Instructions & Support

If any discrepancies are found on the admit card — such as incorrect name or photo — candidates are advised to contact the NTA helpdesk promptly before the exam date. Following release, the admit card will also be required throughout the admission process, including document verification and counselling stages.
