Section-wise Question Types & Highlights

Here are what candidates saw in the Shift 2 exam in different sections:

  • English: Reading Comprehension (RC) ~9 questions, Para jumbles, Error Spotting, Word Usage, Fillers.
  • Reasoning: Major emphasis on Puzzles (box puzzles, circular or seating), Inequalities, Syllogisms, Blood Relations. Some logic or tricky inference questions also appeared.
  • Quantitative Aptitude: DI (Table, Bar Graph, Caselet) formed a significant chunk; Arithmetic questions (like percentage, ratio, speed/time) were of mixed difficulty; Missing Number Series were also present.

 

What Worked and What Was Challenging?

Advantages for candidates:

  • The English section allowed relatively easier attempts; vocabulary, grammar, and RC were manageable.
