The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar has suspended five Bangladeshi students studying under ICCR scholarships after a violent clash on campus on 8 September 2025. The students will be deported following disciplinary action.
Details of the Campus Violence Incident
- The incident involved a group of third-year Bangladeshi students allegedly attacking fellow Bangladeshi students. Weapons reported include rods, knives, and screwdrivers.
