The NEET UG Stray Vacancy Result 2026 reported an MBBS allotment at AIR 11,90,352 for a self-financed merit seat at a deemed university. The round covered 4,068 available seats, of which 3,108 were allotted. Candidates should verify closing ranks and reporting requirements through MCC.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET UG Stray Vacancy Result 2026, revealing that an MBBS seat was allotted to a candidate with an All India Rank (AIR) of 11,90,352. The allotment was made under a self-financed merit seat at a deemed university during the final stage of All India NEET UG counselling.
The result highlights how closing ranks can vary significantly by course, institution, quota and seat category during the stray vacancy round. While the allotment at an AIR of nearly 11.90 lakh has attracted attention, it should not be interpreted as the closing rank for government MBBS colleges or as a general admission cutoff.
Candidates who participated in the NEET UG 2026 stray vacancy round can check their allotment status and download the relevant documents through the official MCC website. Candidates allotted seats must follow the applicable reporting and admission instructions within the prescribed deadline.
