To streamline communication and ensure candidates receive authentic information, the National Testing Agency has launched a verified WhatsApp alert facility. According to the agency, the WhatsApp channel will operate as a one-way broadcast service, meaning candidates will receive notifications but cannot reply through the platform. Through this service, candidates will receive:

  • Exam-related notifications
  • Examination centre information
  • Admit card reminders
  • Important instructions and advisories
  • Updates regarding the re-examination

 

Official WhatsApp Number for NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam

Candidates have been asked to verify the authenticity of messages before acting upon them.Authorities have cautioned students against trusting accounts using the agency's name without official verification. Any message from an unverified number should be treated with suspicion. NTA has clarified that official WhatsApp messages will come only from:

  • Presence of the blue verification tick

 

NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Safety Advisory Issued by NTA

Ahead of the examination, the agency has intensified awareness efforts to protect candidates from online fraud.Candidates receiving suspicious messages have been advised not to click on links or respond to unknown contacts NTA has made it clear that it will never:

  • Ask candidates to share OTPs
  • Request personal information through WhatsApp
  • Demand payments through links or QR codes
  • Send question papers or answer keys
  • Provide admit cards through unofficial links
