Ahead of the NEET UG 2026 re-examination, authorities have initiated a countrywide exercise aimed at evaluating logistics, security arrangements and coordination among multiple agencies. The mock drill commenced at 9 AM on June 20, 2026, and is expected to continue until late evening. Officials from the National Testing Agency, district administrations and security agencies are participating in the exercise to identify possible vulnerabilities before the examination day.According to authorities, the objective is to ensure that all systems function smoothly and that candidates experience a fair and transparent examination process. The drill also serves as a final rehearsal before one of India's largest entrance examinations.

 

More Than 2.5 Lakh Security Personnel Put on Duty for NEET UG 2026

Security arrangements have been significantly enhanced for the re-examination. Over 2.5 lakh personnel, including police officials, paramilitary forces, district administrations, invigilators and examination staff, have been deployed to oversee the process. Authorities have described the exercise as one of the largest coordinated operations undertaken for a national entrance examination. More Than 5,000 Centres Under CCTV Surveillance for NEET UG 2026

Security measures have been expanded beyond physical deployment. More than 5,000 examination centres across the country will operate under continuous CCTV surveillance. The live feeds from these centres will be transmitted directly to the National Testing Agency for real-time monitoring. Dedicated teams have been assigned to observe activities and respond immediately to suspicious incidents.
