NTA has opened the NEET UG 2026 scribe registration portal for PwBD candidates. Eligible candidates can submit scribe details till 21 April 2026. The NEET UG 2026 exam will be held on 03 May in pen-and-paper mode.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the scribe details submission window for candidates with benchmark disabilities. Candidates must complete the process within the given timeline. The important dates are listed below. Timely submission is mandatory for approval.
- Portal opening date: 16 April 2026
- Last date to apply: 21 April 2026 (11:50 PM)
- NEET UG exam date: 03 May 2026
No submissions or edits will be allowed after the deadline.
Who Can Apply for NEET UG 2026 Scribe Facility?
The scribe facility is available only for specific categories of candidates.Applicants must meet eligibility conditions defined by NTA.
- Candidates under PwD/PwBD category
- Those who opted for a scribe during application form submission
- Only eligible candidates will see the ‘Register Scribe Details’ option
Candidates who did not select this option earlier will not be able to access the facility.

The registration process is conducted online through the official portal.Candidates must carefully fill in all required details.
- Visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in
- Log in using application number and password
- Click on ‘Register Scribe Details’
- Enter details of the chosen scribe
- Review all information carefully
- Submit and download confirmation page
