NEET UG 2026 Registration Ends Today, Last Chance to Apply

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the online registration window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 on 11 March 2026. This marks the final opportunity for aspiring medical students to complete their application process for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses (MBBS, BDS) across India. The deadline for submitting the NEET UG 2026 form is 9:00 PM IST, after which no further applications will be accepted. Candidates can continue to pay the application fee until 11:50 PM on the same day.

NEET UG 2026 Registration: Key Details and Deadline

The NTA had extended the original registration deadline of 8 March 2026 to 11 March 2026 after technical issues were reported by many applicants. The extension gives candidates additional time to complete their application forms and pay the required fees.

  • Registration deadline: 11 March 2026 at 9 PM IST
  • Fee payment last date: 11 March 2026 until 11:50 PM IST
  • Official website for application: neet.nta.nic.in

Candidates are advised to ensure all details are correctly entered before submission and to complete the process before the deadline since the NTA has stated no further extension will be granted.

After Registration: Next Steps

Once the registration window closes, NTA will open the application correction window, where candidates who already registered can make permissible edits. The NEET UG 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on 03 May 2026 across designated centres. Candidates should keep an eye on official announcements regarding the correction facility, admit card release and other key updates related to the examination process.
