Candidates appearing for NEET UG 2026 must follow these important instructions:

• Carry printed admit card and valid photo ID proof

• Reach the exam centre before the reporting time

• Avoid carrying mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or electronic devices

• Follow security and verification procedures at the exam centre

Failure to follow guidelines may lead to disqualification from the exam.

• The minimum age requirement is 17 years as of 31 December 2026.

• There is no upper age limit as per the current NEET guidelines.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced enhanced security measures in the registration process. The updated features are outlined below:

• Aadhaar eKYC: Mandatory for identity verification during the application process.

• Live Photo Capture: Applicants must upload a real-time photograph at the time of submission, which will be matched with the Aadhaar database.

• City Selection Process: Examination centres will be allotted based on the candidate’s permanent or present address provided in the application form.
