Investigators identified the accused as Shubham Khairnar, reportedly a 30-year-old BAMS student from Nashik.Officials claimed he was detained while travelling to a temple on Tuesday afternoon.According to reports:
- He allegedly changed his appearance
- Investigators claimed he cut his hair to avoid identification
- Technical surveillance reportedly helped officials trace him
- Older photographs were allegedly used for verification
The accused was later taken into custody for questioning.
Alleged INR 15 Lakh Deal Under Investigation
Investigators reportedly claimed the accused bought the leaked paper from a Pune-based contact.The alleged transaction details include:

- A student allegedly received a “guess paper” PDF

- Teachers later compared the PDF with the actual paper

- 45 out of 108 Chemistry questions allegedly matched
- 90 out of 204 Biology questions reportedly matched

The Rajasthan Special Operations Group (SOG) reportedly began investigating the matter after complaints emerged from Sikar.Investigators allegedly traced:
- Buyers in Sikar
- Links in Jaipur
- Connections in Haryana
- Network activity in Nashik
Officials reportedly arrested 15 individuals so far.The arrested individuals allegedly include:
- Suspected coordinators
- Middlemen
- Consultancy-linked persons
