Applicants can edit their submitted forms online from 12 March 2026 to 14 March 2026 through the official portal neet.nta.nic.in This one-time facility allows candidates to correct specific details in their application forms before the examination process moves to the next stage.

NEET UG 2026 Correction Window Opens Till March 14

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has activated the NEET UG 2026 application correction window for candidates who have already submitted their exam forms. The correction facility started on 12 March 2026 and will remain available until 14 March 2026 (11:50 PM) on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. This facility allows applicants to make necessary corrections in their submitted application forms before the medical entrance examination process proceeds further.

NEET UG 2026 Correction Window Important Dates

The NTA has released a short timeline for candidates to complete the form correction process. Key dates related to the correction window are listed below:

  • Correction Window Opens: 12 March 2026
  • Last Date for Form Correction: 14 March 2026 (11:50 PM)
  • Mode of Correction: Online through official portal

Candidates must ensure that all required corrections are completed within the specified time period because no additional correction opportunity will be provided after the deadline.

Details That Can Be Edited in NEET 2026 Application Form

The correction window allows candidates to update certain details submitted during the registration process. Before making corrections, applicants should review which fields are permitted for editing. Common editable details include:

  • Parents’ names
  • Category or sub-category details
  • State of eligibility
  • Educational qualification details
  • Exam city preference
  • Medium of examination
  • Uploaded signature or documents

However, some information such as registered mobile number, email ID, and certain identity details generally cannot be changed once submitted.

  4. Open the “Correction in Application Form” option.
  5. Edit the allowed fields and verify the updated information.

Candidates are advised to carefully check all details before final submission.

Why the NEET Correction Window Is Important?

The correction window is provided to help candidates fix errors that may have occurred during the application process. The facility is important because incorrect details in the application form may lead to:

  • Rejection of the application form
  • Issues during admit card verification
  • Problems in the counselling or admission process

With over 26 lakh candidates expected to appear for NEET UG 2026, the correction facility helps ensure that application records remain accurate before the exam stage begins.

What Happens After the Correction Window?

Once the correction window closes on 14 March 2026, the NTA will proceed with the next steps of the examination process. The upcoming stages include:

  • Exam city intimation slip release
  • Admit card publication
  • Conduct of NEET UG 2026 examination

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates related to admit cards, exam guidelines, and result announcements.
