The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the NEET UG 2026 application correction window today, 14 March 2026. Candidates who submitted the application form earlier must complete all required corrections before the deadline through the official website neet.nta.nic.in. The correction facility was opened on 12 March 2026 and provides a one-time opportunity for applicants to modify specific details in their submitted forms. After the correction window closes, no further edits will be allowed.

Details That Can Be Edited in NEET UG Application Form 2026
NTA allows candidates to modify certain fields in the application form during the correction period. The editable fields include:
- Category details
- Gender
- Preferred examination centre
- Academic information, including marks and school details
However, certain information cannot be changed once the form has been submitted. These non-editable fields include:
- Registered mobile number
- Email ID
- Permanent address details
Candidates must ensure that the corrected information matches their official documents.
Steps to Edit NEET UG 2026 Application Form
Applicants can access the correction facility by following the process below.
- Visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in
- Click on the NEET UG 2026 application correction link
- Log in using the application number and password or date of birth
- Select the correction option and edit the permitted fields
- Pay any additional fee if required
- Submit the revised form and download the confirmation page
Candidates should keep a copy of the corrected application form for future reference.
NEET UG 2026 Exam Date and Paper Pattern
The NEET UG 2026 examination will be conducted on 03 May 2026. The test will be held in offline mode and will consist of 180 objective-type questions. The question paper will cover topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology based on the Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus. Candidates will receive 180 minutes to complete the examination. According to the tentative schedule, the NEET UG 2026 admit card is expected in the last week of April, while the result may be announced in the first or second week of June 2026.
