NTA NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Date (OUT), Fee Refund Deadline Extended

To compensate candidates for the scrapped NEET 2026 exam, the NTA has launched a dedicated refund portal and officially extended the deadline to submit bank account details to June 22, 2026 (until 11:50 PM).

Following the cancellation of the initial test, the National Testing Agency (NTA) launched a dedicated online portal for students to claim their application refunds. This query spiked heavily after the NTA officially extended the deadline, giving over 22 lakh affected aspirants more time to securely upload their banking credentials.

With the official NEET UG re-exam strictly scheduled for June 21, 2026, students are aggressively searching for their advance city allotment slips to plan their travel. Because the NTA allowed over 3.2 lakh candidates to change their preferred testing cities to avoid summer heatwaves and logistical issues, tracking center allocations has become a top priority.

Following the cancellation of the original May 3 exam due to paper leak allegations, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will reconduct NEET UG 2026 on June 21, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM in offline pen-and-paper mode.

The Union Education Ministry has announced that while this year's re-test remains offline, NEET UG will completely shift to a secure Computer-Based Test (CBT) format starting from 2027 to prevent future irregularities.

Only the 22 lakh candidates who successfully registered and were eligible for the initial May 3 exam can sit for the re-test, and fresh admit cards will be issued by June 14, 2026.

According to the latest notification issued by NTA, the fee refund window opened on May 22, 2026, and will remain active till May 27, 2026, up to 11:50 PM.
