NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Pushes Students Back to Coaching Centres
Students from several states have started returning to Kota to resume full-time preparation. Many aspirants said they could not continue effective preparation from their hometowns due to a lack of internet access, test series and study environment.
Several students travelling back to Kota reported overcrowded trains and increased accommodation costs. According to aspirants, hostel room rents that were earlier around INR 10,000 are now rising to nearly INR 15,000 in some areas.
Many students also said they had mentally stopped studying after appearing for the original exam and are now trying to rebuild their preparation routine within one month.

Motion Education announced daily live revision lectures, free practice papers and customised preparation support for students returning to physical classrooms. The institute expects nearly half of its enrolled NEET students to return to Kota before the re-exam.
Aakash Educational Services Limited launched a “Victory Batch” for Re-NEET aspirants at a nominal fee of INR 99. Existing students can access the programme free of cost. The batch includes chapter-wise tests, revision classes and NEET-pattern practice papers.
NEET UG 2026 Aspirants Focus on Full-Length Mock Tests
Many aspirants said they are now focusing mainly on full-syllabus mock tests instead of chapter-wise preparation. Students believe continuous practice papers are necessary to maintain exam rhythm before the re-test.
The NEET UG 2026 re-exam is scheduled to take place on June 21, 2026, and coaching institutes are expected to continue intensive revision support until the examination date.
