NEET Re-Exam 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on June 21, 2026. NTA allows to download the Re-NEET 2026 Admit Card without completing fee refund verification. The NTA has also issued a new NTA Advisory regarding biometric verification, dress code and exam day requirements.

NEET Re-Exam 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on June 21, 2026. The exam will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM in pen-and-paper mode. Only a day is left for ReNEET 2026 to take place. The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the Re-NEET Admit Card 2026 on June 14, 2026. Candidates can download the hall ticket through the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. More than 16 lakh candidates have already downloaded their admit cards. Moreover, the admit card can be downloaded directly without completing fee refund verification.

 

Along with the admit card, the NTA has issued important instructions regarding biometric verification, documents required, self-declaration form and dress code. The agency has also launched a mental health helpline and confirmed that the examination will be held as scheduled. Students have been advised to follow all guidelines carefully to avoid inconvenience on the examination day.

 

Re-NEET 2026 Exam to Be Held as Scheduled, NO POSTPONEMENT

The NTA has dismissed rumours regarding postponement of the RE NEET 2026 exam. The agency stated that the examination will be conducted on June 21, 2026, according to schedule. Candidates are advised not to rely on unofficial messages circulating on social media. The authority has urged students to focus on preparation and complete all formalities before exam day. A mental health support service has also been introduced to help candidates dealing with stress and anxiety.

NTA Allows RE NEET 2026 Admit Card Download Without Fee Refund Verification

The NTA has provided two options for candidates while downloading the Re-NEET Admit Card 2026. Students can either complete bank detail verification immediately or postpone it and download the hall ticket first. This step has simplified access to the admit card for candidates. More than 16 lakh candidates have already downloaded their hall tickets. The following options are available:

 

Re-NEET 2026 Exam Centre Changed in Uttar Pradesh

The NTA has changed one examination centre in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates allotted to the earlier venue should note the revised address carefully. They are advised to check the admit card and plan their travel accordingly. Reaching the correct centre on time is mandatory. The revised centre details are provided below.

RE NEET 2026 Biometric Verification Guidelines

The NTA has issued a press release explaining arrangements for biometric verification at examination centres. Candidates will have to undergo fingerprint and facial recognition checks before entering the examination hall. These measures have been introduced to strengthen security and ensure transparency. However, candidates will not be denied entry in exceptional cases where biometric authentication fails. Such candidates will be allowed to appear for the examination after submitting a written undertaking. Biometric verification exceptions include:

  • Device hardware failure
  • Poor quality biometric data
  • Connectivity issues with UIDAI servers
  • Physical inability of the candidate

 

Documents Required for NEET Re-Exam 2026

Candidates must carry all essential documents to the examination centre. Failure to produce the required documents may create difficulties during entry and verification. Students are advised to keep the documents ready a day before the examination. Original identity proof should be carried along with the admit card. The following documents are mandatory:

  • NEET 2026 admit card with self-declaration form
  • Passport-size photograph
  • Original photo identity proof
  • PwD certificate, if applicable
  • Scribe documents, wherever required

 

How to Fill NEET Self-Declaration Form 2026?

Candidates are required to complete the self-declaration section printed along with the admit card. The form must be filled before arriving at the examination centre. Students should ensure that the photograph and signature match the details submitted during registration. Incomplete forms may delay verification procedures. Follow these steps:

  1. Take a printout of the admit card.
  2. Paste the same postcard-size photograph uploaded during application.
  3. Sign the self-declaration form before reaching the examination centre.
  4. Carry the completed form along with other required documents.

 

NEET Dress Code 2026 for Male and Female Candidates

The NTA has prescribed a NEET UG 2026 dress code for both male and female candidates. Students should avoid wearing clothes with heavy embroidery, buttons or multiple layers. Open footwear is recommended. Jewellery and accessories are prohibited inside the examination hall. The prescribed dress code is given below:

 

Telegram Banned in India Until June 22 Ahead of NEET Re-Exam 2026

The Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has blocked access to Telegram in India until June 22, 2026, one day after the NEET Re-Exam 2026. The platform has also been instructed to disable the message-editing feature for previously posted messages until June 30, 2026. The decision follows concerns over paper leak claims linked to the messaging platform. Authorities have taken these steps to maintain the integrity of the examination process. Candidates have been advised to rely only on official updates issued by the NTA.
