NEET PG 2026 New Test City Allocation Rules

Under the revised policy:

  • Candidates must select three preferred test states.
  • The first preference must be the state mentioned in the application.
  • The remaining preferences should be neighbouring states.
  • Early submission of the application will not provide any advantage in city allocation.

Aadhaar Authentication and Biometric Verification for NEET PG 2026

NBEMS has also introduced Aadhaar-based authentication as part of the registration and examination process. Failure to comply may delay biometric verification at the examination centre. Candidates should provide accurate Aadhaar details while filling out the application form. During examination-day biometric verification, applicants should avoid applying:

  • Henna (Mehendi)
  • Ink
  • Paint
  • Artificial colouring
  • Any substance that may interfere with fingerprint verification

Eligible candidates will receive the City Intimation Slip on August 11, 2026, followed by the release of the admit card before the examination. The NEET PG 2026 examination will be conducted on August 30, 2026, and the result is scheduled to be declared by September 30, 2026.
