NEET 2025 Counselling Round 2 Seat Matrix Released; 1,134 MBBS

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the seat matrix and vacancies for NEET UG 2025 Counselling Round 2. A total of 7,088 Virtual Vacancies and 13,501 Clear Vacancies are available for MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing courses. Notably, 1,134 MBBS and BDS seats have been added in this round, providing candidates with increased opportunities.

 

Candidates must review the seat matrix before submitting their choice filling to maximize chances of admission. The choice filling process started on September 5, 2025, while registration began on September 4, 2025. The last date to lock choices is September 9, 2025.

How to Fill Choices for NEET 2025 Counselling

Candidates can follow these steps for choice filling and locking:

  1. Visit the official MCC website:mcc.nic.in/ug-medical-counselling
  2. Click on ‘New Registration’ and log in with NEET UG 2025 roll number, password, and security pin.
  3. Access the ‘Available Choices’ section.
  4. Select the desired institutes; chosen seats move from the left basket to the right basket.
  5. Click ‘Save & Continue’ to proceed.
  6. Adjust the order of preference using Up/Down arrows or delete unwanted choices.
  7. Use the Choice Interchange (Swap) feature if needed to reorder selections.
  8. Review and confirm all choices before locking.
