The Madhya Pradesh government has urged schools and education departments to enhance the performance of students in Class 10 and 12 board exams. This directive comes after the academic year 2024–25 saw 87% pass in Class 10 and 83% pass in Class 12 examinations.

During a recent meeting with state officials, MP Chief Secretary Anurag Jain highlighted the importance of intensive measures to raise board exam results. He stated that achieving broader educational and developmental goals depends heavily on the quality of school outcomes.
Measures for Enhancing Student Performance
The state government has outlined several steps for improving academic performance:
- Increase Gross Enrolment Ratio: Efforts to enroll more students in schools and retain them through secondary education.
- Reduce Dropout Rates: Schools to focus on preventing dropouts, especially from rural areas and Anganwadi centers.
- Teacher Attendance Monitoring: Utilize the e-Attendance app, which achieved 94% compliance in Rajgarh district.
- Strict Action Against Negligence: Officials advised to act against teachers failing to meet responsibilities.
- Scholarship Distribution: Ensure students receive scholarships and benefits promptly via the National Scholarship Portal for Classes 9 through college.

MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav reiterated that officials have been instructed to focus on improving enrollment, reducing dropouts, and ensuring 100% scholarship distribution.
