Patliputra University (PPU) has officially announced that the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) semester examinations will commence on November 20, 2025. This significant academic event will involve approximately 2.7 lakh UG students and around 20,000 PG students across various disciplines.
Examination Schedule and Coverage
The upcoming examinations will cover the following semesters:
- UG Courses: Semesters I, III, and V
- PG Courses: Semesters I and III
These exams will encompass both regular and vocational courses offered by the university. The entire examination process is scheduled to conclude by December 20, 2025, aligning with the university's academic calendar.
Examination Centres and Surveillance
To ensure the integrity and transparency of the examination process, PPU has designated specific examination centres:
- UG Exams: 60 centres located within Patna and Nalanda districts
- PG Exams: 8 centres situated in the university's constituent colleges across the same districts
Each centre will be equipped with stringent surveillance measures, including appointed observers and university teams, to maintain a disciplined and fair examination environment.
Preparation and Timely Evaluation
The university is proactively making arrangements to ensure the timely evaluation of answer scripts and the prompt publication of results. Detailed examination schedules, centre lists, and student guidelines will be made available shortly on the official PPU website. Students are advised to regularly check the website for updates and to download their admit cards in advance.
