JEE Main 2026 Registration Starts Soon – Demo Link Available

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has initiated the preparation phase for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 by activating a demo registration link. This step aims to familiarize prospective candidates with the online application process ahead of the official registration opening.

 

JEE Main 2026 Exam Schedule

JEE Main 2026 will be conducted in two sessions:

  • Session 1: January 2026
  • Session 2: April 2026

Candidates can choose to appear in one or both sessions to improve their chances of admission to premier engineering institutes.

 

How to Access the Demo Registration Link?

To practice the registration process:

  1. Visit the demo registration portal: demo.nta.nic.in
  2. Follow the instructions to understand the application steps.
  3. Enter sample data to get acquainted with the form-filling process.

This initiative is designed to ensure a smoother application experience by allowing prospective candidates to practice the registration steps.

 

Official Registration Portal

Once the official registration opens, candidates can apply through the main JEE portal. Here, candidates can:

  • Register as a new user or log in if already registered.
  • Fill in personal, academic, and contact details.
  • Upload required documents, including a scanned photograph and signature.
  • Pay the application fee via online mode.
  • Submit and download the confirmation page for future reference.

 

Important Documents Required

Before starting the registration process, ensure you have the following documents:

  • A valid email ID and mobile number.
  • Scanned copies of passport-sized photograph and signature.
  • Class 12 (or equivalent) examination details.
  • Valid ID proof (e.g., Aadhaar card, passport).
  • Category certificate (if applicable).

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • There is no age limit; however, candidates must meet the requirements of participating institutes.
