Eligible candidates planning to appear for the exam can fill out the JEE Main 2026 application form on the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply is November 27, 2025. JEE Main 2026 Exam Dates Announced

According to the official schedule, the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam will be conducted from January 21 to 30, 2026. The exam will be held in computer-based mode across multiple centres in India and abroad. The NTA has streamlined the registration process to enhance accuracy and reduce errors, making document verification more efficient.

New Rules in JEE Main 2026 Registration

Before beginning the registration process, candidates must ensure they have the following updated documents ready:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • UDID Card (for PwD candidates)
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)

This year, Aadhaar or DigiLocker verification has been made mandatory for all applicants to confirm identity. The live photo capture feature has also been introduced to eliminate discrepancies during the verification stage.
