The NTA has set April 13, 2026, as the final date for raising objections against the JEE Main 2026 provisional answer keys. Here's what candidates need to know.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the last opportunity for candidates to raise objections against the provisional answer keys for JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2 is today, April 13, 2026. The deadline for submitting objections is set for 11:50 PM. It is crucial for candidates to adhere to this timeline, as no objections submitted after this period will be considered.
The JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2 examination for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) took place on the following dates: April 02, 04, 05, 06, and 08. Additionally, Paper 2A (B.Arch.) and Paper 2B (B.Planning) were conducted on April 07. This examination was held across 567 centres in 306 cities within India and in 14 international cities.
Currently, candidates can raise objections only against the answer keys for Paper 1. The provisional answer keys, along with the corresponding question papers and response sheets, are accessible on the official website.
How to Raise Objections in JEE Main ?
- Log in to the official website using your application number and password.
- Click on the challenge button and select the relevant question ID.
- Choose the option that corresponds to your objection.
- Upload any supporting documents as a single PDF file.
- Submit your claims and proceed to make the payment.
It is important to note that a fee of Rs 200 per question is required for each challenge, which is a non-refundable processing fee. Candidates can pay this fee using debit cards, credit cards, or net banking. Any challenges submitted without the requisite fee will not be processed.
JEE Main Payment and Deadline Information
Once the objections are submitted, candidates will not receive individual notifications regarding the acceptance or rejection of their challenges. If any challenge is deemed valid, the NTA will modify the answer key accordingly, and this revised key will be uniformly applied to all candidates. The final results will be compiled based on this modified answer key.
