IIT JAM 2027 Registration Date Announced: Applications to Begin September 5, Check Exam Schedule

The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has announced the schedule for IIT JAM 2027 registration and launched the official examination website. Candidates preparing for the Joint Admission Test for Masters can apply online from September 5, 2026, through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS). The last date to submit the IIT JAM 2027 application form is October 12, 2026.

IIT JAM 2027 Exam Date Announced

The IIT JAM 2027 exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 14, 2027. The examination will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode.

According to the announced schedule, the examination will be conducted in two sessions, with different test papers allotted to the respective sessions.

The IIT JAM 2027 examination will cover seven test papers:

• Economics
• Geology
• Mathematical Statistics
• Mathematics
• Physics

IIT JAM 2027: Admission to 23 IITs

The IIT JAM 2027 score will be used for admission to postgraduate programmes offered by participating IITs. For the 2027-28 academic session, 89 postgraduate programmes across 23 IITs will be available through the JAM admission process.
