The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will conduct an Open House event for JEE Main 2026 aspirants on 31 January 2026 at the auditorium of Vardhman Mahaveer Open University in Kota, Rajasthan. The session is designed to help engineering aspirants clarify their doubts about preparation strategies, exam questions and future opportunities related to the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
Purpose of the IIT Delhi Open House for JEE Aspirants
The Open House is aimed at providing direct interaction between students preparing for JEE Main 2026 and the faculty and current students of IIT Delhi. Participants will be able to ask questions about exam preparation, gain insights into life at IITs, and learn about academic expectations and career pathways before appearing in the main competitive exams. This initiative is part of IIT Delhi’s outreach efforts to support aspiring engineers during their preparation phase. Similar sessions were held previously in other cities as part of wider academic engagement programmes focused on JEE aspirants.
Registration and Eligibility
Students who wish to attend the Open House must register online through the official IIT Delhi website (iitd.ac.in) by 28 January 2026 (up to 11:59 pm). Only those who have applied for JEE Main 2026 will be allowed entry. Participants must carry proof of having applied for the exam and a valid government-issued ID on the day of the event for verification.
Event Schedule and Sessions
The Open House will be conducted in two sessions on the same day to accommodate all interested participants:
- Session 1: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
- Session 2: 02:30 pm to 04:30 pm
Reporting times for attendees are scheduled well before start times to ensure smooth entry and seating:
- Session 1 reporting: 09:20 am to 09:50 am
- Session 2 reporting: 02:00 pm to 02:20 pm
