IIT Delhi Anveshan 2026 will be conducted on 21 March 2026 at the Hauz Khas campus of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. The event is designed for final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students who are considering higher studies at the institute. It aims to provide direct exposure to academic and research opportunities available on campus.
Anveshan 2026 Event Details and Objectives
The programme, titled ‘Anveshan: Innovation & Exploration Across Disciplines’, will allow participants to visit the campus and engage with faculty members and current students. The interaction is expected to help attendees understand academic pathways, research culture, and career prospects at the institute.
The initiative is being organised under the ‘ExperienceIITD’ platform managed by the Office of Academic Outreach and New Initiatives. Through this platform, the institute has been conducting outreach activities to guide prospective students in making informed academic decisions.
Recently, IIT Delhi organised an Open House in Kota for Joint Entrance Examination aspirants. The session enabled students preparing for JEE to interact with faculty members and enrolled students. Discussions focused on preparation strategies, academic structure, and campus life.
JEE Advanced Open House 2026 Schedule
The institute has announced additional Open House sessions for JEE Advanced qualified candidates. These sessions will take place in multiple cities. The upcoming schedule is as follows:
- Online session ‘IITD Calling’ – 5 June 2026
- Delhi Open House – 6 and 7 June 2026
- Hyderabad Open House – 6 and 7 June 2026
- Bengaluru Open House – 6 and 7 June 2026

IIT Delhi PG and PhD Admission 2026–27 Details
The institute has opened its admission portal for foreign nationals applying to PhD and postgraduate programmes for the first semester of the 2026–27 academic year. The last date to submit the application form is 30 March 2026, up to 4 pm IST.
For Indian nationals, the admission portal for PhD, MTech, MS (Research), MDes, MPP, MA, and MSc programmes will open in the third week of March 2026. Applicants are advised to regularly check the official website for updates on eligibility criteria, application deadlines, and admission notifications for the upcoming semester.
