IIM Sirmaur Launches AI-Integrated MBA for Working Professionals

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sirmaur has announced a new MBA for working professionals that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) into its curriculum. The program, developed in collaboration with Futurense Technologies, is designed for mid-career managers aiming to sharpen decision-making skills in an AI-driven business environment. The two-year course is primarily delivered online, with two mandatory campus immersions at IIM Sirmaur’s Himalayan campus — combining flexibility with experiential learning.

 

AI-Driven MBA: Specialisations & Curriculum

To meet the demands of the modern enterprise, the new MBA offers five specialised tracks, enabling professionals to apply AI strategically across sectors. These specialisations are:

  • AI-Powered Finance & Fintech
  • Marketing & Growth with AI
  • AI in Operations & Supply Chain Management
  • AI-Enabled Tourism Management
  • Business Transformation & Agentic AI

The course emphasises an execution-first learning philosophy, blending management fundamentals with practical AI application via: integrated AI labs, business simulations, capstone projects, and real-world enterprise solutions through the Futurense AI Clinic.

 

Program Structure, Eligibility & Fee

The IIM Sirmaur MBA is structured over 24 months (6 trimesters) with a hybrid format combining live online classes and onsite campus immersions.

  • Tentative Start Date: 27 February 2026
  • Eligibility: A Bachelor’s degree with at least 55% marks plus a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
  • Program Fee: Approximately ₹ 8,00,000 (₹ 4,00,000 per year)

Notably, no coding knowledge is required, making the programme accessible for professionals from non-technical backgrounds.
