GUJCET 2026 registration schedule has been announced by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), Gandhinagar. The Gujarat Common Entrance Test is a mandatory exam for admission to engineering and pharmacy programmes in Gujarat. The board confirmed the dates through an official press note.
As per the announcement, the GUJCET 2026 online application process will begin on December 16, 2025, and will close on December 30, 2025. Eligible candidates must complete the registration process within this period to be considered for the examination.
GUJCET 2026 Registration Dates and Official Portals
The registration window for GUJCET 2026 has been fixed for a limited duration. Candidates must apply online only through the official portals prescribed by the board.
The online application dates for GUJCET 2026 are from December 16 to December 30, 2025. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted under any circumstances.
The board has stated that candidates should apply only through the official GSHSEB portals, namely www.gseb.org and gujcet.gseb.org. No other mode of application is permitted.
GUJCET 2026 Eligibility for Engineering and Pharmacy Courses
GUJCET is conducted for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Science stream students in Gujarat. Only specific student groups are eligible to appear for the exam.
Candidates belonging to Group A, Group B, and Group AB of the HSC Science stream can apply for GUJCET 2026. The exam is mandatory for students seeking admission to Degree Engineering and Diploma or Degree Pharmacy courses in colleges across Gujarat.
Applicants must ensure that they meet all eligibility conditions before filling out the application form, as ineligible candidates may be disqualified at later stages.
GUJCET 2026 Application Fee and Payment Modes
The GSHSEB has clearly defined the application fee and payment options for GUJCET 2026.
The GUJCET 2026 application fee is fixed at INR 350. Candidates can pay the fee online through the SBIePay system using a credit card, debit card, or net banking facility.
Alternatively, candidates may also choose the offline payment option. The fee can be paid at any State Bank of India (SBI) branch across India using the SBIePay “SBI Branch Payment” option.
The board has emphasised that fee payment alone does not complete the application process.
Mandatory Submission of Complete GUJCET 2026 Application Form
GSHSEB has clarified that candidates must complete all steps of the online application process. Submission of the complete GUJCET 2026 application form after successful fee payment is mandatory. Incomplete or partially filled forms will be rejected, and such candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
Candidates are advised to carefully review all details before final submission to avoid errors.
