The NSP scholarship application 2026-27 process continues to require One Time Registration (OTR). NSP states that OTR is mandatory for scholarship applications and provides a unique number applicable throughout a student's academic career.

Students applying for NSP scholarships 2026-27 should therefore complete their OTR before filling the scholarship application. The portal is open for the 2026-27 academic session from June 1, 2026.

The current NSP scheme list also shows different closing dates depending on the scholarship. Several major schemes have student application deadlines of October 31, 2026, while some schemes have earlier deadlines such as September 30.
