GATE 2027 Photograph: Important Rules
- The photograph should be a high-quality, passport-sized colour image.
- Caps, hats, sunglasses and tinted glasses are not allowed.
- Regular spectacles are permitted if there is no glare or reflection.
- Religious head coverings are allowed if they do not hide facial features.
- Candidates should use a recent photograph that clearly shows their face.
GATE 2027 Signature Specifications
Candidates must sign clearly on clean white paper inside a rectangular box before scanning or uploading the signature.

- The signature should be clear and properly visible.
- Do not upload signatures written entirely in capital letters.
- Initials should not be used as the signature.
- Avoid using sketch pens or fountain pens.
- The signature should remain within the specified rectangular area.
GATE 2027 Certificate and ID Specifications
Candidates claiming benefits under applicable categories may need to upload supporting certificates during registration.
Candidates should ensure that all uploaded documents are clear, valid and readable. The original photo ID used during registration must also be carried to the examination.
For OBC-NCL and EWS candidates, certificates are not required to be uploaded during the application process as per the given document requirements.
