CLAT 2027 Notification Update: 3 Key Points Applicants Must Know

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2027 notification has been issued, bringing prospective law aspirants a set of important updates regarding the application process, eligibility requirements and test pattern. Conducted annually for admission into national law universities (NLUs) and other participating institutions across India, CLAT serves as a gateway to both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes. Below are three crucial points from the latest CLAT 2027 notification that every aspirant should know.

1. CLAT 2027 Registration and Important Dates

The schedule for CLAT 2027 is now available, and candidates planning to appear for the exam must mark key deadlines in their calendars.

  • Application Start Date: To be notified soon
  • Last Date to Apply: Typically several weeks before the exam
  • CLAT 2027 Exam Date: Tentatively in December 2026 or January 2027 (as per previous trends)
  • Admit Card Availability: A few weeks prior to the exam
  • Result Declaration: Usually within one month after the exam

All registration and date updates will be published on the official portal clat.nta.nic.in and candidates should not miss these deadlines to avoid late fees or rejection.

2. Eligibility Criteria for CLAT 2027

Eligibility conditions for CLAT 2027 have been clarified in the official update. These criteria are essential for applicants to verify before starting the application process:
