CLAT 2025 Counselling Registration is going to be closed today, 21st May, 2025. The Consortium of NLUs released the revised CLAT 2025 result on 17th May, 2025, along with the updated counselling schedule.
Candidates who had already received counselling invites earlier and completed the registration process do not need to register or pay the counselling fee again. However, such candidates can update their NLU preferences if required, before the deadline.
Only the candidates whose names are listed in the CLAT 2025 Invite List are eligible to take part in the counselling process. The counselling registration details and schedule were shared on the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The process is being conducted online.
Candidates shortlisted for CLAT 2025 admission must choose to either accept, revise, or withdraw their seat allotment before the last date. Those who accept or apply for a seat upgrade will need to pay the confirmation fee to secure their seat. The CLAT 2025 admission process will be completed in three rounds this year.
How to Check CLAT 2025 Counselling and Seat Allotment Result?
To view the CLAT 2025 seat allotment result, candidates can follow these easy steps:
- Go to the official CLAT website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in
- Enter the registered mobile number and password.
- Click on the Login button.
- The seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen.
CLAT 2025 Counselling: Non- Non-Refundable Fees
In the CLAT 2025 counselling process, any eligible candidate who is allotted a seat based on their NLU preferences must pay a non-refundable Confirmation Fee of INR 20,000 before choosing the ‘Freeze’ or ‘Float’ option during the First, Second, or Third round of counselling. This Confirmation Fee needs to be paid only once during the entire CLAT 2025 admission and counselling process.
CLAT 2025 Counselling Fee Refund Rules
The CLAT 2025 Counselling Registration Fee refund depends on the candidate’s actions during the counselling process. Below are the conditions:
- Full Refund (No Deduction):
- If a candidate is not allotted a seat by the end of the Third Round.
- If a candidate has not selected Freeze or Float and chooses to exit the counselling process early.
- Refund with INR 5,000 Deduction:
- If a candidate was allotted a seat and selected Freeze or Float, but later exits the process or doesn't complete admission before 1:00 PM on 9th June, 2025, then an INR 5,000 deduction will apply.
- If the exit is made after 1:00 PM on 9th June, INR 5,000 will be deducted from the refund.
- If a candidate is declared ineligible by any NLU during document verification, ₹5,000 will be deducted and the rest refunded.
- No Confirmation Fee Refund:
- If a candidate chose the Freeze option, took admission, but withdrew after 9th June, 2025, then:
- INR 5,000 will be deducted from the counselling fee.
- The INR 20,000 Confirmation Fee will be forfeited (not refunded).
