CBSE Date Sheet 2027 (Tentative Schedule) Live: Check Class 10th, 12th Date Sheet Details

The CBSE Date Sheet 2027 (Tentative Schedule) is yet to be released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Students of Classes 10 and 12 are waiting for the subject-wise timetable, which will confirm the dates and timings of the 2027 board examinations.

As of October 8, CBSE has not announced the official CBSE Board Exam Date Sheet 2027. The board is expected to release the tentative examination schedule soon on cbse.gov.in. Students should rely only on the official PDF once released instead of following unverified dates circulating online.

Has CBSE Released the Date Sheet 2027?

No, the CBSE Date Sheet 2027 has not been released yet. The board's latest updates include the LOC submission process for Classes 10 and 12 and other examination-related activities, but the official 2027 timetable is still awaited. The upcoming CBSE 2027 tentative exam schedule is expected to provide the main examination dates for Classes 10 and 12. It is also expected to include information on the Class 10 second board examination and other examination timelines followed by CBSE.

For students, the date sheet will be important for planning revision, practical preparation and subject-wise study schedules. The gap between papers will also help students decide how to divide their preparation time.

When Will CBSE Date Sheet 2027 Be Released?

There is no confirmed CBSE Date Sheet 2027 release date yet. Based on the recent release pattern, the tentative timetable could be announced around late October or later. However, CBSE has not given an official date for its release.

Last year, CBSE released the tentative date sheet for the 2026 board examinations on September 24, 2025. The final date sheet for the 2026 examinations was then issued on October 30, 2025. This previous pattern provides a reference, but it does not confirm the 2027 release date.

CBSE Class 10 Expected Schedule 2027

The CBSE Class 10 Exam Date 2027 is expected to fall in the February-March examination period. However, the exact subject-wise dates cannot be confirmed until CBSE publishes the official timetable. The 2027 cycle also follows the two-board-examination system introduced for Class 10. Therefore, students should check the official CBSE Class 10 Date Sheet 2027 carefully when released to understand the first and second examination timelines.

Until the timetable is available, students can use the CBSE syllabus, sample question papers and marking schemes for the 2026-27 session to continue preparation.

CBSE Class 12 Expected Schedule 2027

For Class 12 students, the CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2027 will provide the subject-wise examination dates, timings and other instructions. The main board examinations are expected to be conducted from February 2027, although the final dates will be confirmed only through the official CBSE notification.

The tentative schedule is also expected to help students understand the examination timeline for different subjects. Class 12 students preparing for entrance examinations can use the final timetable to plan board preparation alongside competitive exam schedules.

How Does CBSE Prepare the Date Sheet?

CBSE does not simply select examination dates randomly. The board prepares the schedule using registration and subject-related information available from schools. For the 2026 cycle, CBSE specifically said its tentative date sheets were based on registration data for Classes 9 and 11.

The board also considers the number of subjects, examination arrangements and the need to give students suitable gaps between papers. The 2026 tentative schedule covered the main examinations for Classes 10 and 12 and the second Class 10 board examination. The CBSE 2027 tentative exam schedule is also useful for schools because it helps them plan academic activities, examination duties and evaluation arrangements.
