The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting the Class 12 Geography Board Exam 2026 today, 26 February 2026. The examination will be held in a single session from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM across affiliated centres nationwide.

 

CBSE 2026 board exams Reporting Time and Reading Period

Students are required to report at their exam centres by 9:30 AM. A reading time from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM is scheduled, allowing students to review the question paper before beginning their answers. CBSE has strictly stated that candidates arriving after 10:00 AM will not be allowed entry.

To ensure smooth conduct of the examination, students must adhere to the following instructions:

  • Arrive at the examination centre 30–45 minutes before reporting time.
  • Entry after the reporting time will not be permitted under any circumstances.
  • Carry a valid CBSE-issued admit card; students without it will be denied entry.
  • Question papers and answer booklets will be distributed 15 minutes before the exam.
  • During this time, students should read all questions carefully and complete necessary details on the answer sheet.
