CBSE Admit Card 2026 OUT for Class 10th and 12th Board Exams

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the release of the CBSE Admit Card 2026 for students appearing in the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. The hall tickets are now available for download via the official CBSE portal, known as the Pariksha Sangam portal and must be obtained by students before the start of the board examinations scheduled from 17 February 2026 onwards. CBSE has reiterated that admit cards are mandatory documents, and no student will be permitted entry into the examination hall without carrying a printed copy of their admit card on all exam days.

How CBSE Admit Cards Are Being Distributed?

For the 2026 board exams, the process for receiving the CBSE admit cards is as follows:

  • School‑Based Students: Principals and authorised school officials must log in to the Pariksha Sangam portal using their credentials to download the admit cards. These hall tickets should be printed, signed, and stamped before being handed to students.
  • Private Candidates: In cases where students registered as private candidates, CBSE allows direct download of admit cards from the portal using candidate login details (application number and date of birth).

Students should remain in contact with their schools to ensure their admit cards are distributed well ahead of the board exams.

CBSE Exam Schedule and Admit Card Importance

According to the board’s timeline, Class 10 board exams will be conducted from 17 February to 11 March 2026, while Class 12 exams are scheduled from 17 February to 10 April 2026. The admit card contains important information such as the student’s name, roll number, exam centre details, subject codes, and reporting time. Candidates must review all details carefully and report any discrepancies to their school authorities for correction.

Steps for Schools to Download and Distribute CBSE Board Exam Admit Cards

Here’s how school authorities can access and handle the CBSE admit cards:

  1. Visit the CBSE official website at cbse.gov.in.
  2. Navigate to the Pariksha Sangam portal / Admit Card section.
  3. Log in using school credentials provided by the board.
  4. Search for the relevant Class 10 and Class 12 students.
  5. Download, print, sign and distribute the admit cards to students ahead of exam dates.

Private candidates who are required to download their admit cards should use their individual login credentials on the same portal to access the hall ticket. CBSE has also advised students to carefully verify details such as exam centre address and subject combinations mentioned on the admit card. In case of errors, students should report to their school for immediate correction.
