BVP PA, DEO, LDC & Stenographer Recruitment 2026: Apply Online

The Bihar Vidhan Parishad (BVP), Government of Bihar, has released the official notification for PA, DEO, LDC, and Stenographer posts 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online from November 28, 2025, with the last date extended to January 5, 2026. The official application portal is https://vidhanparishad.bihar.gov.in. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 64 vacancies, including positions for Personal Assistants, Data Entry Operators, Lower Division Clerks, and Stenographers.

Educational Qualification

Personal Assistant (PA)

Graduate with Hindi stenography 100 wpm, typing 30 wpm (Hindi & English). Computer qualification (‘O’ Level/AICTE/DOEACC/NIELIT) desirable.

Data Entry Operator (DEO)

Intermediate (10+2), typing speed 8,000 key depressions/hour. Computer qualification (ADCA/‘O’ Level/DOEACC/NIELIT) desirable.

Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

Intermediate (10+2), typing speed 30 wpm (Hindi/English). Computer certification desirable.

Stenographer

Graduate, Hindi stenography 80 wpm, typing 30 wpm (Hindi/English). Computer certification desirable.

 

Selection Process

  1. Written Examination – Objective-based test.
  2. Steno/Typing Test – Post-wise skills assessment.
  3. Document Verification – Submission of educational and personal documents.
  4. Medical Examination – Fitness verification for final selection.

Candidates must carry required certificates and a printout of the application to the examination centre.
