Agricultural Cluster Entry Test 2025–26 Held Smoothly Across Centres

The entry test for first-year honours courses under the Agricultural Cluster for the 2025–26 academic session was conducted peacefully on 01 January 2026. The examination was held for admission to nine public Agricultural Universities operating under the cluster system.

 

The test was conducted smoothly without any major disruption. Candidates appeared in large numbers across multiple centres, reflecting strong competition for limited seats.

 

Agricultural Cluster Admission Test Exam Timing and Mode

The Agricultural Cluster admission test was conducted in MCQ-based format. As per official sources, the examination started at 02:00 PM and concluded at 03:00 PM on the same day.

 

The test was organised simultaneously across 20 sub-centres throughout the country. These centres included examination venues within the nine Agricultural Universities currently part of the cluster system.

 

Number of Candidates and Seat Availability

A total of 88,228 candidates appeared for the Agricultural Cluster admission test this year. The examination was conducted for admission against 3,701 available seats across the participating universities.

 

Due to the high number of applicants, competition remained intense. On average, nearly 24 candidates competed for each seat, highlighting the growing demand for undergraduate agriculture education.

 

Universities Participating in Agricultural Cluster Admission 2025–26

The Agricultural Cluster admission system currently includes nine public universities. These institutions jointly conduct the entry test for honours programmes under a unified admission framework.

 

The universities operating under the Agricultural Cluster are:

  • Bangladesh Agricultural University
  • Gazipur Agricultural University
  • Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University
  • Patuakhali Science and Technology University
  • Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University
  • Sylhet Agricultural University
  • Khulna Agricultural University
  • Habiganj Agricultural University
  • Kurigram Agricultural University

Each university will admit students based on merit and cluster admission guidelines after the publication of results.

Gazipur Agricultural University played a central role in organising the admission test. The university was responsible for coordinating all administrative and technical aspects of the examination.

 

Officials ensured proper distribution of question papers, smooth conduct at centres, and adherence to examination protocols. The overall management contributed to the peaceful and orderly completion of the test.
