The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially dispatched the original certificates of students who passed the Intermediate Annual, Special, and Compartmental Examinations 2025. The certificates have been sent to all district education offices for further distribution to respective schools and colleges. According to the Board’s latest notice, the certificates were dispatched on November 12, 2025, and heads of all affiliated intermediate institutions have been instructed to collect them from their respective District Education Officers (DEOs) starting November 13, 2025.
Schools Asked to Collect and Distribute Certificates
The Board has directed every school principal and college head to ensure timely collection of the certificates and maintain proper documentation during distribution. Institutions have also been asked to record each certificate before handing it over to the concerned students. According to BSEB’s circular, “The heads of institutions must verify the details printed on every certificate and ensure its safe distribution. If any school receives certificates belonging to another institution, they must return them immediately to the District Education Office.” This initiative is part of the Board’s annual post-result process to ensure all students receive their official academic records without administrative delays.
Verification and Record Maintenance Instructions
District officials have been instructed to verify the identity of each institution representative collecting the certificates. The Board emphasized that certificates will only be handed over to recognized schools and colleges listed under the Bihar Education Department’s jurisdiction. To maintain transparency, institutions must keep a signed acknowledgment record while collecting and distributing certificates. In case of any discrepancies or printing errors, schools are required to report the issue to the respective district office for rectification. Officials confirmed that the verification process will help prevent misuse of academic documents and maintain the authenticity of student records across the state.
BSEB’s Continued Focus on Streamlined Student Services
The Bihar School Examination Board has recently introduced multiple digital and procedural reforms to streamline post-exam processes. This includes quicker dispatch of mark sheets, online verification services, and direct coordination with district offices to avoid logistical delays. The Board’s proactive step in sending original certificates within weeks of the exam cycle reflects its commitment to transparency and efficiency in academic administration. As per officials, students can expect the certificates to be distributed at their schools within the next few days, ensuring all 2025 Intermediate candidates — including vocational stream students — receive their official documents without any delay.
