BITSAT 2026 session 1 exam faced confusion as some students missed their exam due to revised admit cards. Lack of clear communication about date and shift changes led to issues at exam centres. Affected candidates are advised to contact the official helpdesk and check updated admit cards.
BITSAT 2026 session 1 exam witnessed confusion on its first day as several students faced issues at examination centres. The problem arose due to revised admit cards and lack of clear communication regarding changes in exam dates and shifts.
BITSAT 2026 Session 1 Exam Overview
The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani is conducting the BITSAT 2026 session 1 exam over two days. While the first day of the exam has been completed, the remaining session is scheduled to continue as planned. Most candidates reported a smooth experience; however, a section of students encountered unexpected difficulties at their allotted centres.
Why Students Faced Issues at BITSAT 2026 Centres?
The confusion stemmed from changes made to the admit cards shortly before the exam. Candidates who reached centres based on earlier details were not allowed to appear. Initially, the admit cards were released on 10 April 2026, but were later withdrawn. Revised hall tickets were issued on 11 April 2026 with updated exam dates and shifts. However, many students were unaware of these changes as there was no clear official communication directing them to download the updated admit cards. As a result, they followed outdated schedules.
Impact of Admit Card Revision on Candidates
Due to this issue, several candidates reached their exam centres only to find that their exam had already been rescheduled. This led to panic and disappointment among students and parents. Many candidates were reportedly turned away as their names were not listed for the scheduled shift. Parents also raised concerns about the lack of proper notification from the authorities.
What Affected Students Should Do Now?
Candidates who missed their exam due to this situation must take immediate action. It is important to follow official guidance to resolve the issue. Students are advised to:
- Contact the BITSAT helpdesk immediately
- Explain their situation clearly
- Request information about possible solutions or rescheduling options
Important Advice for Upcoming BITSAT 2026 Candidates
Candidates appearing in upcoming shifts must take precautions to avoid similar issues. Checking updated details is essential before reporting to the exam centre. Candidates should:
- Download the revised BITSAT 2026 admit card
- Verify exam date, time, and centre details
- Follow the updated schedule strictly
Staying informed through official updates will help candidates avoid last-minute confusion and ensure a smooth examination experience.
