BITSAT 2026 Application Form Out; Apply by 16 March as Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani has activated the online registration link. Candidates can submit the form for Session 1 or for both sessions together. The deadline to complete registration is 16 March 2026 up to 5.00 pm.
BITSAT 2026 Registration Dates and Exam Schedule
The online application process began on 15 December 2025 at the official website — admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. Eligible candidates can apply only in online mode. The important dates for BITSAT 2026 are listed below:
- Application form (Session 1 or Both Sessions): 15 December 2025 to 16 March 2026
- Form correction (Session 1): 18 March 2026 to 20 March 2026
- Slot booking (Session 1): 27 March 2026 to 31 March 2026
- Admit card release (Session 1): 05 April 2026
- BITSAT 2026 Exam (Session 1): 15 April 2026 to 17 April 2026
- Application form (Session 2): 20 April 2026 to 02 May 2026
- Form correction (Session 2): 04 May 2026 to 07 May 2026
Candidates must adhere strictly to the prescribed timelines.
BITSAT 2026 Revised Eligibility Criteria
The exam authority has introduced changes in the eligibility norms this year. Applicants must verify eligibility before submitting the form. Key eligibility conditions include:
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 in 2025 or be appearing in 2026.
- Students who retake Class 12 for all subjects are not eligible.
- No age limit has been prescribed.
- For B.E. and M.Sc. programmes, candidates must secure at least 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, with 60% in each subject individually.
- For B.Pharm and B.E. Environmental and Sustainability Engineering, candidates must secure 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics, with 60% individually.
Both theory and practical marks are considered while calculating percentages.
BITSAT 2026 Registration Fee Details
The registration fee has been increased by INR 100 across categories this year. Fee payment is mandatory to complete the application process. The revised fee structure is as follows:
- Male Candidates (One Session): INR 3,600
- Male Candidates (Both Sessions): INR 5,600
- Female / Transgender (One Session): INR 3,100
- Female / Transgender (Both Sessions): INR 4,600
- Dubai Centre (One Session): INR 7,250
- Dubai Centre (Both Sessions): INR 9,250
Payment can be made through credit card, debit card or net banking.
BITSAT 2026 Application Form Correction Facility
A correction window will be provided separately for each session. The Session 1 correction facility will remain open from 18 March 2026 to 20 March 2026. During this period, registered candidates can edit permitted details in their application form. Since this is a one-time opportunity, changes must be made carefully. Not all fields will be editable. Candidates are advised to retain their registration number and password to check application status, download the admit card and participate in the admission and counselling process after the declaration of results.
