According to official BSEB statements, a total of five students were expelled from exam centres for resorting to unfair means during the Science paper. The expulsions occurred in the following districts:
- Saran: 2 students
- Begusarai: 2 students
- Nalanda: 1 student
Additionally, one impersonator — a person attempting to take the exam in place of a registered student — was apprehended in Kaimur district. These actions reflect the board’s strict enforcement of exam rules and anti-cheating measures to ensure a fair environment for all examinees.

While malpractice cases were reported in some areas, the exam in Patna district proceeded without major incidents or reported cases of unfair practices. BSEB officials described the examination atmosphere as generally calm and well-controlled.

This year’s Bihar Board Class 10 Matric exam 2026 has seen strong participation, with over 15,12,687 students registered to appear, including 7,85,726 girls and 7,26,961 boys.
