UPMSP has started the Class 12 board examinations from 18 February 2026 across Uttar Pradesh. The exams will continue till 12 March 2026 in two shifts as per the official schedule.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has commenced the UP Board Class 12 Exams 2026 from 18 February 2026. The senior secondary examinations will continue until 12 March 2026 at centres across the state. The first day of the examination concluded as scheduled under the supervision of UPMSP officials.

 

UP Board Class 12 Exams 2026 Shift Timings and Exam Mode

The board examinations are being conducted in offline mode with a duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes for each paper. Two shifts have been scheduled daily for Class 12 students. The official shift timings are:

  • Morning Shift: 8:30 am to 11:45 am
  • Afternoon Shift: 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm

Candidates are required to report at the examination centre well before the gate closing time. Entry after the reporting deadline is not permitted.

 

UP Board Class 12 Date Sheet 2026: Subject-Wise Schedule

UPMSP had earlier released the detailed UP Board 12th exam schedule through an official notification. The examinations will be held from 18 February to 12 March 2026 covering science, commerce, arts and vocational subjects. Major examination dates include:

  • 18 February 2026: First examination day
  • 19 February 2026: Civics and vocational subjects
  • 20 February 2026: English and agriculture papers
  • 23 February 2026: Biology and Mathematics
  • 25 February 2026: Chemistry and Sociology
  • 27 February 2026: Physics and Military Science
  • 9 March 2026: Language papers
  • 12 March 2026: Computer and Sanskrit (Final Day)

The complete timetable applies uniformly to all districts under UPMSP jurisdiction.

 

UP Board Class 12 Practical Exams and Admit Card Details

The UP Board 12th practical examinations were completed earlier on 9 February 2026. The board issued the UP Board Class 12 Admit Card 2026 on 12 February 2026, which was distributed through respective schools. Students must carry the admit card to the examination centre on each exam day.

 

UPMSP Exam Day Guidelines for Class 12 Students

UPMSP has issued instructions to ensure smooth conduct of the board examinations. Students are expected to comply with all examination rules. Key instructions include:

  • Carry the UP Board 12th admit card 2026

UP Board 12th Exam Day Guidelines 2026

Students are advised to carefully follow these instructions:

  • Carry the UP Board 12th Admit Card 2026 – Entry will not be allowed without it.

  • Do not skip breakfast – Stay calm and energized before the exam.

  • Reach the exam centre at least one hour before the reporting time.

  • Carry necessary stationery items such as pens, pencils, geometry box, etc.

  • Do not write anything on the admit card (hall ticket).

  • Follow all instructions given by the invigilator inside the examination hall.

  • Read the question paper carefully before attempting answers.

  • Recheck your answers after completing the paper to avoid mistakes.
