AP TET Answer Key 2025 Released, Objection and Result Timeline

AP TET Answer Key 2025 has been released by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, on December 19, 2025. The preliminary answer keys are available online for candidates who appeared in the Teachers’ Eligibility Test. The exam was conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode across multiple centres in the state.

The AP TET 2025 examination was held on December 10, 2025, in two shifts each day. Candidates can download the preliminary answer keys from the official AP TET portal and use them to assess their performance before the declaration of results.

AP TET 2025 Answer Key and Objection Schedule

As per the earlier AP TET schedule, the initial answer keys were expected on January 2, 2026, followed by the result announcement on January 19, 2026. However, the preliminary answer keys were released earlier on December 19, 2025.

After the release of the initial keys, candidates will be given an opportunity to raise objections. Once the objection window is closed, the department will examine the challenges submitted by candidates. Based on valid objections, the final answer keys will be prepared.

The AP TET 2025 result will be declared after the release of the final answer keys. Candidates are advised to regularly monitor official notifications to avoid missing important deadlines.

AP TET 2025 Exam Purpose and Eligibility

The Andhra Pradesh Teachers’ Eligibility Test is conducted every year to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching posts in government, aided, and private schools across the state.

Candidates who qualify Paper I become eligible to teach Classes 1 to 5. Those who clear Paper II are eligible to teach Classes 6 to 8. Candidates who qualify both Paper I and Paper II are eligible to teach Classes 1 to 8 in government schools in Andhra Pradesh.

The AP TET plays a crucial role in ensuring quality teaching standards at the primary and upper primary levels.

Validity of AP TET Certificate and Weightage

As per National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) norms, the AP TET certificate is valid for a lifetime. This allows qualified candidates to use their eligibility status for teaching appointments without any expiry concerns.

The AP TET score carries a 20 percent weightage in future Teacher Recruitment Tests (TRT) conducted by the Andhra Pradesh government. This makes APTET qualification a significant component of the teacher recruitment process in the state.

What Candidates Should Do Next?

Candidates should carefully compare their responses with the AP TET 2025 preliminary answer key and calculate their expected scores. If discrepancies are found, objections must be submitted within the stipulated time.

After the final answer keys and results are declared, qualified candidates can prepare for upcoming teacher recruitment notifications in Andhra Pradesh. Regular monitoring of official announcements is advised to stay updated on further developments related to AP TET 2025 results and recruitment processes.
