Fee Hiked by ₹100 Across All Categories
The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has revised the application fee for the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) 2026. The fee has been increased by ₹100 across all candidate categories. The registration process for AP ICET 2026 commenced on February 5, 2026, on the official portal, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. As per the revised fee structure, candidates belonging to the Open Category (OC) are now required to pay ₹750, compared to the previous ₹650. For candidates from the Backward Classes (BC), the application fee has increased to ₹700 from ₹600. Meanwhile, applicants from the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories will have to pay ₹650, instead of the earlier ₹550.
Important Dates for AP ICET 2026 Registration
APSCHE has announced that candidates can submit their application forms without paying a late fee until March 2, 2026. After this deadline, applicants will still be allowed to register by paying a late fee ranging from ₹1,000 to ₹10,000. The last date to submit applications with a late fee is March 21, 2026. Authorities have advised candidates to complete the registration process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues or payment failures.
AP ICET 2026 Application Process
Candidates applying for AP ICET 2026 must ensure they have all the required documents ready while filling out the application form. The form is available online, and applicants must provide personal details, educational qualifications, and upload necessary documents as per the guidelines issued by APSCHE. AP ICET is conducted for admission to MBA and MCA programmes offered by universities and affiliated colleges across Andhra Pradesh. The examination plays a crucial role in postgraduate admissions in the state.
Objection Fee of ₹300 Introduced
In a new move, APSCHE has introduced an objection fee for AP ICET 2026 answer key challenges. Candidates who wish to raise objections against the provisional answer key will be required to pay ₹300 per objection. However, the fee will be refunded if the objection raised by the candidate is found to be valid after verification by subject experts. The introduction of an objection fee aims to ensure that only genuine challenges are submitted during the answer key review process.
Advisory for Candidates
APSCHE has urged candidates to stay updated with official notifications and adhere strictly to the application deadlines. Aspirants are also advised to keep copies of the submitted application form and payment receipt for future reference. With registrations now open, candidates planning to appear for AP ICET 2026 should complete the application process early to secure their candidature for the entrance examination.
