AILET 2027 registration is underway at NLU Delhi. Candidates should avoid mistakes in personal details, category selection, test centres, document uploads and fee payment while submitting the application form.
The AILET 2027 registration process is currently underway for candidates seeking admission to law programmes at National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi). The university opened the AILET application form 2027 on August 7, and candidates can submit the form online until November 10, 2026.
The AILET 2027 exam will be conducted on December 13, 2026, from 2 PM to 4 PM in offline mode. Candidates applying for the entrance test should be careful while entering personal, academic and category details, as errors or incomplete information can lead to rejection of the application.
AILET 2027 Registration: Important Details
Before filling the AILET 2027 application form, candidates should keep the key dates, fee and application requirements in mind.
NLU Delhi states that SC/ST and PwD candidates have to pay Rs 1,000, while the fee is Rs 3,000 for the other applicable categories. SC/ST and women candidates who are BPL applicants are exempt from the online application fee.
AILET 2027 Registration Mistakes to Avoid
Candidates should check the application carefully before final submission. NLU Delhi has specifically instructed applicants to verify the information entered in the form.
1. Entering the Wrong Name
The candidate's name should be entered exactly as mentioned in the Class 10 or equivalent certificate. Applicants should avoid using a different spelling or format.
2. Providing an Incorrect Email ID or Mobile Number
Candidates should enter their primary email address and mobile number carefully. These details are used for communication related to AILET 2027 registration. NLU Delhi also states that the registered email ID cannot be changed later.
3. Entering the Wrong Date of Birth
The date, month and year of birth should match the details mentioned in the Class 10 or equivalent certificate. A mismatch in DOB can create problems during verification.
4. Selecting the Wrong Category
Candidates must select their correct category, such as General, SC, ST, OBC, EWS or PwD. Reserved-category candidates will be required to produce valid certificates during admission or counselling.
5. Choosing Test Centres Carelessly
Candidates have to select three test centres in order of preference. Applicants should check the available centres and choose them carefully before submitting the form.
AILET 2027 Document Upload Mistakes
Incorrect or unclear documents are another common issue during AILET application form 2027 submission. Candidates should follow the specifications prescribed by NLU Delhi.
The photograph should be recent, coloured and have a white background. Its maximum size should be 1 MB. The face should be clearly visible, while the scanned signature should also be within the 1 MB limit. Candidates claiming applicable categories should also upload the required certificate where specified. For example, NLU Delhi requires the BPL certificate for SC/ST candidates claiming BPL exemption.
How to Submit AILET 2027 Application Form Correctly
Candidates can avoid most errors by following these steps:
- Visit the official NLU Delhi website at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
- Open the AILET 2027 registration link.
- Register using the correct email ID and mobile number.
- Select the applicable law programme.
- Enter personal, academic and category details carefully.
- Select three preferred examination centres.
- Upload the photograph, signature and applicable documents in the prescribed format.
- Review the complete application before submission.
- Pay the application fee through card, UPI or net banking.
- Download and retain the submitted application and fee acknowledgement.
NLU Delhi advises candidates to check the submitted application after completing the process. In certain circumstances, an incorrect application can be deleted and filled again, subject to the conditions specified by the university.
AILET 2027 Application Fee and Payment
The AILET 2027 application fee is Rs 3,000 for General, OBC, EWS and applicable foreign-national categories. The fee for SC, ST and PwD candidates is Rs 1,000. SC/ST and women candidates belonging to the BPL category are exempted from the online application fee. Candidates should check whether the payment has been successfully reflected in their login.
