WBJEE 2026 Revised Decentralised Counselling Dates OUT: Check Phase-wise Schedule Here

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the revised WBJEE decentralised counselling dates 2026. Candidates can now check the complete phase-wise schedule for registration, choice filling, merit and allocation lists, seat acceptance fee payment, document verification and admission.

As per the revised WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling schedule, Phase 1 registration and choice filling will begin on September 7 at 10 AM and continue till September 8 at 11:59 PM. The Phase 1 Round 1 merit and allocation list will be published on September 10 at 10 AM.

WBJEEB will conduct the decentralised counselling process in two phases to fill vacant seats remaining at participating institutes after the regular counselling process. Candidates should follow the revised dates instead of the earlier schedule, which was postponed following changes to the eligibility conditions.

The WBJEE decentralised counselling 2026 dates cover two phases, with each phase having two rounds of merit/allocation. Candidates should check the schedule carefully because the registration, choice filling, fee payment and physical verification windows have different deadlines.

WBJEE 2026 Decentralised Counselling Registration

The WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling registration for Phase 1 will start on September 7 at 10 AM. Candidates will also be required to submit their choices during the same window. The registration and choice-filling facility will close on September 8 at 11:59 PM.

Candidates seeking admission through vacant seats should complete the registration and choice-filling process within the specified deadline. Since the process is being conducted online, candidates should keep their required details and documents ready before registration begins.

The Phase 2 registration and choice-filling window will subsequently open on September 16 at 5 PM and close on September 18 at 11:59 PM.

WBJEE 2026 Decentralised Counselling Eligibility Revised

WBJEEB has also specified the eligibility criteria for the revised WBJEE decentralised counselling 2026 process. Importantly, all candidates are eligible to participate irrespective of whether they have already taken admission or not.

The priority for admission will be given first to candidates holding a valid WBJEE rank for the college or course they have applied for. Candidates with JEE Main ranks will receive the next preference. If a candidate has both WBJEE and JEE Main ranks, the WBJEE rank will be considered for allotment.

The third category is the Higher Secondary Merit Rank (HMR), which will apply to candidates seeking admission on the basis of their Class 12 qualifying examination.
